Terms of Reference:
Functions of the Committee under terms of reference 2.3(a) and 2.3(b) are to consider and report to the Council on the estimates of expenditure laid before the Council each year and on any matter relating to the financial administration of the State.
The Committee has adopted the following procedure for examining the annual estimates of expenditure:
hearings throughout the year (ongoing hearings); and
intensive hearings after the budget papers are tabled in the House (annual hearings).
This inquiry relates to the ongoing hearings regarding the 2010/11 Budget and any matter falling within the above Committee functions.
