Parliamentary Education Programs
|Education programs, provided by the Parliament of Western Australia through the Parliamentary Education Office, offer valuable learning opportunities for teachers, students and the community. Programs offered have been developed to draw students into an engaging and learning environment that explains the parliamentary process of making laws for all people living in Western Australia|
|Parliamentary Regional Outreach Program |
Aims to improve equity of access to Parliamentary education for students and community members who reside in regional and remote locations of Western Australia
|Parliamentary Research Program |
Is a cooperative arrangement between the Western Australian Parliament and the state universities through which students research topics nominated by Members of Parliament
|Statewide Student Parliament |
Targets year 10 students from across the State and aims to enhance students’ understanding of the Parliamentary system of government so that students approaching voting age become more informed and are active citizens.
Programs supported and hosted by Parliament
|Youth Parliament |
A program developed and run across Australia by the YMCA and supported by the Western Australian Parliament.
|Tomorrow's Citizen Leaders program |
A program run by the United Nations Association of Western Australia and supported by the Parliament of Western Australia. The aim is to increase awareness of social justice, environmental and community development issues; and participants’ roles in building local, national and international cohesion.
