About the Collection

The Parliament of Western Australia hosts one of the largest collections of local artists of any State Parliament in Australia. The collection is unique to Western Australia, and acquisitions include artworks by Aboriginal artists, as well as paintings from the regions of the State depicting buildings, landscapes, flora and fauna


The Parliament conducts a tour of the parliamentary art collection at 3pm on the first Friday of each month at 3.00 pm. Tours are presented by Art Gallery of Western Australia guides, who provide in-depth information on the many different art collections on display. View the Art Tour Calendar
