SynopsisThe purpose of this Bill is to provide changes to the Unclaimed Money (Superannuation and RSA Providers) Amendment and Expiry Bill 2012 including the transfer of stock and ongoing responsibility of lost and unclaimed superannuation money held by Western Australian public authorities and to centralise unclaimed superannuation within the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) to allow superannuation fund members to be reunited with their lost and unclaimed superannuation. The Bill will also amend the Unclaimed Money (Superannuation RSA Providers) Act 2003 and the State Superannuation Act 2000 and for related purposes.
