SynopsisThe purpose of this Bill is to make provision for matters relating to places established by the Disability Services Commission for the detention, habilitation and rehabilitation of mentally impaired accused, and as a consequence to amend -
  • the Criminal Law (Mentally Impaired Accused) Act 1996;
  • the Disability Services Act 1993; and
  • certain other Acts.

StatusAssented to 03/03/2015
Royal Assent given 3 Mar 2015 as Act No. 4 of 2015. Different sections of this Act come into operation on Royal Assent and Proclamation. For details refer to Commencement Clause of the Bill (see also Assent and Commencement information for Acts)
