Synopsis
The purpose of this Bill is two-fold -
to confer special powers on police to deal with imminent threats of terrorists acts and to respond to terrorists acts; and
to enable the covert entry and search of premises, under the authority of a special covert search warrant, by police officers for the purposes of responding to or preventing terrorists acts.
Status
Assented to 12/19/2005
