SynopsisThe purpose of this Bill is to amend the apportionment provisions of the Law Reform (Contributory Negligence and Tortfeasers' Contribution) Act 1947 so as to extend those provisions to claims for a breach of a contractual duty of care that is concurrent and co-extensive with a tortious duty of care.

This Act comes into operation on the day on which it receives the Royal Assent
