SynopsisThe purpose of this Bill is to amend The Criminal Codeto remove offences related to procurring abortion, to amend the Health Act 1911to regulate the performance of abortion and, as a consequence, to amend the Evidence Act 1906. This Bill was orginallly introduced into the Legislative Council with the title Crimal Code Amendment (Abortion) Bill 1998.
