SynopsisThis Bill is part of a legislative package that reforms the lower courts of Western Australia. The purpose of the Bill is to implement recommendations of the Law Reform Commission (LRC) and provide for a uniform system of enforcing the civil judgements of the Supreme, District and Magistrates Courts. The Bill also provides for the overarching role of the Sheriff and the appointment of bailiffs.

Royal Assent given 14 Oct 2004 as Act No. 28 of 2004. This Act comes into operation on a day fixed by Proclamation (see Assent and Commencement information for Acts)
