SynopsisThe purpose of this bill is to recognise the importance of, and to promote understanding and appreciation of, Western Australia's cultural heritage, to provide for the identification and documentation of places of cultural heritage significance, for the conservation, use, development and adaption of such places, and to repeal the Heritage of Western Australia Act 1990.

StatusAssented to 09/18/2018
Royal Assent given 18 Sep 2018 as Act No. 22 of 2018. Different sections of this Act come into operation on Royal Assent and Proclamation. For details refer to Commencement Clause of the Bill (see also Assent and Commencement information for Acts)
