SynopsisThe purpose of this Bill is to make amendments necessary for Western Australia to be part of a national legislative scheme to prohibit human cloning and regulate research involving human embryos. Bill title was changed with Legislative Council message No. 145 dated 1 July 2004 as agreed to by the Legislative Assembly.

Royal Assent given 16 Jul 2004 as Act No. 18 of 2004. This Act comes into operation on a day fixed by Proclamation (see Assent and Commencement information for Acts)
