Economic Regulation Authority Bill 2002

SynopsisThe purpose of this Bill is to establish the Economic Regulation Authority as an independent body to assume responsibility for economic regulatory functions currently performed by a variety of Ministers, sector-specific regulators and public sector officials. The regulatory functions of the Authority will apply to electricity, gas. rail and water industries.
