Fish Resources Management Amendment Bill 1999

Long Title The purpose of this Bill is to amend the Fish Resources Management Act 1994 to provide for a new type of licence (a "fishing tour operators licence") to be created by regulation. The commercial activity which the licence will regulate is the provision of "fee for service" recreational fishing tours, whether they are conducted on board a "charter boat" or through another form of guided fishing service.
Status Assented to
Royal Assent given 2 Nov 2000 as Act No. 41 of 2000. Different sections of this Act come into operation on Royal Assent and Proclamation. For details refer to Commencement Clause of the Bill (see also Assent and Commencement information for Acts)
