Long Title |
The purpose of this Bill is to provide for private sector management through competitive tendering of the Transperth Bus Fleet, which was purchased by Transport in June 1996. The Bill will provide a regulatory regime for the setting of fares, the conduct of passengers and the issue of infringement notices for non-payment of fares on contract bus services, as well as the introduction of standards for the bus and coach industry in Western Australia. |
