Long Title

The purpose of this Bill is to amend the Marketing of Meat Act 1971 to enable the transfer of the Western Australian Meat Marketing Corporation's net assets by way of sale to a new co-operative company, to be called the "Western Australian Meat Marketing Co-operative Limited". The Bill also confers on the new co-operative the corporation's "single desk" export lamb marketing arrangements until no later than 31 December 1999.
