Censorship Amendment Bill 2002

Long Title The purpose of this Bill is to amend the Censorship Act 1996 to make Western Australia a full participant in the National Co-operative Censorship Scheme and to ensure that Western Australia's censorship legislation is consistent with that in other States and Territories. The Bill proposes to introduce new offences for persons who supply X films or RC films and computer games to minors.
Status Assented to
Royal Assent given 26 May 2003 as Act No. 30 of 2003. Different sections of this Act come into operation on Royal Assent and Proclamation. For details refer to Commencement Clause of the Bill (see also Assent and Commencement information for Acts)
