SynopsisThe purpose of this Bill is to amend The Criminal Code to introduce a new scheme into Western Australia whereby infringement notices can be issued for Criminal Codeoffences that are considered relatively low level or minor.

Royal Assent given 2 May 2011 as Act No. 10 of 2011. Different sections of this Act come into operation on Royal Assent and Proclamation. For details refer to Commencement Clause of the Bill (see also Assent and Commencement information for Acts)
