ROADSIDE CLEARING — SOUTH WEST
684. Hon DIANE EVERS to the Minister for Environment:
(1) Does the state government
collect data relating to roadside clearing undertaken in the south west?
(2) If yes to (1) —
(a) what data is
collected, how is the data collected, and when is it collected; and
(b) what volume
and type of vegetation has been cleared in the region?
(3) If no to (1), why not?
(4) Has the
government been notified about breaches to roadside clearing in the South West
Region through its own monitoring or by members of the public?
(5) How many
breaches of roadside clearing regulations have been recorded in the South West
Region within the past five years?
(6) How many of the recorded
breaches have been —
(a) local government authorities who
have cleared roadside vegetation without a permit; and
(b) private landholders who have
cleared roadside vegetation without a permit?
(7) What action has been taken
against parties who have cleared roadside vegetation without a permit?
