Parliament Fountains are illuminated orange in recognition of Prevention of Family and Domestic Violence. The Office for Prevention of Family and Domestic Violence in the Department of Communities is coordinating the 2022 16 Days in WA to Stop Violence Against Women initiative, a well-established Western Australian-led campaign to encourage change to stop violence against women.
Led by the Hon Simone McGurk MLA, Minister for Prevention of Family and Domestic Violence, the annual campaign runs from 25 November to 10 December to unite and inspire communities across the State.
