To the President and Members of the Legislative Council of the Parliament of Western Australia in Parliament assembled. We the undersigned ...
support the formation of a Julimar National Park to cover at least the area currently gazetted as the Julimar State Forest and known as the Julimar Conservation Park. National Park status is needed to protect this unique ecosystem which is known to include at least 100 species of birds, 350 invertebrates, 35 mammals, 15 amphibians, 60 reptiles and 515 species of wildflowers, trees and fungi.
We therefore ask the Legislative Council to support the reclassification of the Julimar State Forest to give it National Park Status.
And your petitioners as in duty bound, will ever pray.
