About the collection
The Parliament of Western Australia holds one of the largest art collections from local artists of any State Parliament in Australia. The collection is unique to Western Australia, and acquisitions include artworks by Aboriginal artists, as well as paintings from the various regions of the state depicting buildings, landscapes, flora and fauna.
About Art tours
The Parliament conducts a free tour of the parliamentary art collection at 3.00 pm on the first Friday of each month. The one-hour free tour, presented by experienced guides from the Art Gallery of Western Australia, explores in-depth our extensive collection.
