Jovita Hogan—Retirement
Statement
The Speaker (Mr Stephen Price) (2:01 pm): I have one further announcement. I acknowledge the presence in the gallery of Jovita Hogan, who, after 25 years of service with the Legislative Assembly, is retiring at the end of this year. Jovita commenced work as a parliamentary officer in July 2000 in what was then referred to as the papers office. In the following year, Jovita moved to the newly established committee office as a research officer, a position she has held since that date. Jovita has worked across most of the committees of the Assembly and is known for her unflappable approach and her extensive corporate knowledge. She will be missed by members and colleagues alike. We thank her for her service and wish her all the very best. Thanks, Jovita.
(Applause.)
