Public housing—Waitlists

I refer to question without notice 1530 asked on 26 November 2024, when I was told that waitlist data is regularly made publicly available, and to the letter I sent to the minister's office on 21 January 2025 regarding the waitlist data, which has not yet been responded to.

(1) Where was this data made publicly available between 29 November 2024 and 7 April 2025?

(2) How many applicants and individuals were on the wait-turn and priority public housing waitlists respectively for the end of November 2024, December 2024, January 2025 and February 2025?

I thank the honourable member for some notice of the question. The following answer has been provided to me by the Minister for Housing and Works.

(1)–(2) Waitlist data is regularly made publicly available. As at 30 November 2024, there were 20,891 applications on the public housing waitlist statewide. This included 6,425 priority applications. As at 31 December 2024, there were 21,060 applications on the public housing waitlist statewide. This included 6,561 priority applications. As at 31 January 2025, there were 21,214 applications on the public housing waitlist statewide. This included 6,650 priority applications. As at 28 February 2025, there were 21,480 applications on the public housing waitlist statewide. This included 6,795 priority applications.
