(1) How many police retired in:
(a) November 2024;
(b) December 2024;
(c) January 2025;
(d) February 2025; and
(e) March 2025?
(2) How many police officers retired in total in 2024?

I thank the honourable member for some notice of the question, which I answer on behalf of the minister representing the Minister for Police. The following answer has been provided by the Minister for Police.
(1) (a) It is five;
(b) 11;
(c) 11;
(d) four; and
(e) three.
(2) In 2024, 99 police officers retired. As of 1 April 2025, over 528 police officers have commenced during the 2024–25 year.
