Motion
Resumed from an earlier stage of the sitting.
Hon Ayor Makur Chuot (North Metropolitan Region) (5:04 pm): I was concluding my remarks earlier, at the point of thanking Western Australians for giving us another chance to continue with our third term of government. I also gave a big thankyou to you, President, and congratulated you for being appointed to represent us for the next four years. We trust you and you will lead us with your disciplined leadership, so thank you.
I think I have mentioned so many wonderful things, starting from acknowledging those who are leaving us and those who are joining us in this chamber. I talked about our plan and agenda for the 42nd Parliament of Western Australia for the next few years and our real focus on the promise that we have made to the people of Western Australia. Something particularly important that we have to deliver is the Made in WA plan, which means that we will be making more things here in Western Australia. Once again, I put this on the record, because I can see many members want to contribute to this. We will not take this lightly. We will continue.
Lastly, I once again wish the members who are not returning to this chamber best wishes in their retirement or in their future endeavours.
Debate adjourned to a later stage of the sitting, on motion by Hon Peter Foster.
