I refer to the ministerial taskforce on ambulance ramping.
(1) How many times and on what dates has the taskforce met in 2025?
(2) Who are the current members of the taskforce?
(3) When is the next taskforce meeting scheduled for 2025?
(4) What agency provides secretarial support to the taskforce?
Hon Pierre Yang replied:
I thank the honourable member for some notice of the question.
(1) In 2025 the ministerial taskforce on ambulance ramping met on 17 February, 6 May, 18 June and 17 July.
(2) Current members include the Minister for Health, Minister for Mental Health, Director General of Health, chairs of each health service provider, chief executives of each health service provider, the Mental Health Commissioner, the Assistant Under Treasurer strategic policy and evaluation, the Deputy Director General of the Department of the Premier and Cabinet and the Group Executive Director of St John Ambulance WA.
(3) The next meeting is scheduled 28 August 2025. The remaining 2025 meetings are being scheduled.
(4) The Department of Health.
