Childcare centres—Sexual abuse
503. Hon Nick Goiran to the minister representing the Minister for Police:
I refer to recent media reports of child sexual abuse in childcare centres across Australia.
(1) Are there any current investigations by the Western Australia Police Force into allegations of child sexual abuse in childcare centres in Western Australia?
(2) Will the minister commit to an urgent review of all closed investigations into allegations of child sexual abuse in childcare centres that were deemed not substantiated or no offence detected?
(3) If no to (2), why not?
