Horizon Power—Board members

I refer to the board of Horizon Power, established out of the Electricity Corporations Act 2005 and operating under the Government Trading Enterprises Act 2023.
(1) Who are the current members appointed to the Horizon Power board and when do their current terms expire?
(2) On what dates, in 2025 to date, has the board met?
(3) Which board members have been appointed or reappointed in 2025 to date?
(4) Has Horizon Power sought or been granted special permission to operate with the reduced number of board members? If so, when was permission sought or granted?
(5) If yes to (4), why have replacement board members not been appointed?

I thank the honourable member for some notice of the question. It has been a long time since he asked me one, so it is great to be back, honourable member.
(1) Current members appointed to the Horizon Power board, with respective term expiry, are Ms Samantha Tough, 26 November 2025; Mr Mark Puzey, 22 December 2025; and Ms Ivy Chen, 26 November 2025.
(2) The board met on 21 February, 28 April and 27 June 2025.
(3) Mr Mark Puzey was reappointed.
(4) Yes, it was granted on 27 June 2025 and 4 August 2025.
(5) The 2025 state election resulted in a delay in the reappointment of a board member in the first half of the year, followed by an unexpected resignation in July 2025. A process to appoint additional board members is currently being finalised.
