Statement
The President (Hon Alanna Clohesy) (1:03 pm): Good afternoon, members. Members, I am advised that there is a technical issue with the microphones in the chamber and that the light that indicates that a microphone is on is not illuminating. The microphones are controlled by the broadcasting team and they will activate your microphone after you have been given the call. Members are advised to pause for a second after being given the call to ensure that their microphone is on, and be aware that there will not be a visual reminder that your microphone is on at any time, so please be aware that your microphone may be on and you may not be aware of it.
