I refer to Coroner Fogliani's inquest into the 13 deaths of children and young persons in the Kimberley region.
(1) Which of the 42 recommendations have been fully implemented?
(2) What is the status of the remainder of the recommendations and the implementation timeline?
Hon Pierre Yang replied:
I thank the honourable member for some notice of the question and provide the following answer on behalf of the Minister for Health.
(1)–(2) Of the 42 recommendations, eight recommendations are reported as closed. The remainder are either in progress or have been superseded. Three are subject to future budget considerations and one belongs to the Commonwealth.
