I refer to tender RFP112025FS, sale of industrial wood and forest residue, issued by the Forest Products Commission.
(1) How many companies have applied to the tender or a request for quote and can the minister please provide their names?
(2) Will seasonal restrictions be imposed on any successful tenderer's activities?
(3) What guidelines does the Forest Products Commission use for the application of the new regimes?

(1) The tender is an ongoing process and a response cannot be provided at this time.
(2) Yes.
(3) Tender RFP112025FS caters for the sale of forest products from both ecological thinning and plantation thinning. The guidelines are, for native forest ecological thinning, the "Silvicultural Plan: Ecological Thinning in Forest Enhancement Area" as issued by the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions, and, for plantation thinning, the Forest Products Commission's work instruction 25 protocol for thinning and operational assessment.
