Long Title |
This Bill, in conjunction with the Legal Practices Bill 2002 is to modernise many aspects of the practice of law. The particular purpose of the Bill is to repeal the Legal Practitioners Act 1893 and set out the transitional arrrangements to the new legislation. A number of consequential amendments to other related Acts are made in this Bill, largely to specify the Legal Practice Act 2002 as the basis for defining legal practitioners. |
