Long Title

The purpose of this Bill is to obtain parliamentary ratification of the agreement entered into on 14 May 1997 between the State and Cockburn Cement Limited to vary the provision of the Cement Works (Cockburn Cement Limited) Agreement Act 1971. The major provisions of the new Agreement include - to provide for payment of a royalty on shell sand or alternative material mined; to amend reporting requirements for dredging and management programs; and to replace the environmental clause with the now standard form.
