Long Title | The purpose of this Bill is to -
ensure ongoing conservation and enhancement of Kings Park and Bold Park; ensure world class tourism and recreation services are provided through efficient administration and sound business practice; provide statutory protection for the State’s botanic garden and the important research, horticultural and educational services it provides to the community; and
provide statutory protection for the bushland in Kings Park and Bold Park as well as the significant urban bushland research and conservation functions of the present agency. This Bill provides the legal framework to achieve these objectives. |
