Long Title

The purpose of this Bill is to require financial accountability in relation to Government support for non-public sector bodies. It seeks to entrench in law the practice that within 28 days of a Minister signing an instrument of assistance details must be tabled in both Houses. There is also a role for the Public Accounts and Expenditure Review Committee and the Auditor General.
