Coal Miners' Welfare Amendment Bill 2004

Long Title
The purpose of this Bill is to amend the Coal Miners' Welfare Act 1947 in order to improve the effectiveness of the operation of the Coal Miners' Welfare Board and the Coal Miners' Welfare Fund. The amendments implement the recommendations of the October 2002 Review, which was carried out in response to the Report of the Machinery of Government Taskforce.
