Long Title

The purpose of the Bill is to implement the recommendations of the October 2002 Review of the Board and the Prinicpal Act, carried out in response to the report of the Machinery of Government Taskforce. The Bill improves the effectiveness of the operation of the Coal Miners' Welfare Board and the Coal Miners' Welfare Fund.
