Long Title |
The purpose of this Bill is to provide for the imposition of a prescribed levy on continuing lottery tickets. The Bill complements the Acts Amendment (Continuing Lotteries) Bill 1999, which transfers responsibility for the licensing and regulation of suppliers of continuing lottery tickets from the Commissioner of State Revenue to the Gaming Commission so that only one government agency is responsible for the licensing and regulation of continuing lotteries in Western Australia. |
