Long Title |
The purpose of this Bill is to amend the Workers' Compensation and Rehabilitation Act 1981 in order to: 1. Eliminate the need for employers to obtain workers' compensation coverage for a worker in more than one jurisdiction and ensure each worker is connected to one jurisdiction; 2. Ensure workers working temporarily in another jurisdiction only have access to the workers' compensation entitlements and common law provisions in their home State or Territory; 3. Provide certainty for workers about their workers' compensation entitlements; 4. Ensure each worker is connected to one State or Territory. |
