Guardianship and Administration Amendment Bill 1999

Long Title The purpose of this Bill is to - amend the Guardianship and Administration Act 1990; allow for the appointment of alternative, conditional donees for Enduring Powers of Attorney; provide a hierarchy of persons who would be responsible to be able to provide consent without the need to apply to the Board for the appointment of a Guardian; provide additional functions for Plenary Guardians; and have donees of Enduring Powers of Attorney inform the Board if they become subject to bankruptcy provisions.
