Long Title

The Bill will - reform the Act's provisions for offences, penalties and enforcement; provide for the collection and disbursement of the landfill levy through a dedicated trust fund; provide for the operation of the waste management facilities at Mount Walton East and Forrestdale; enable the implementation of National Environment Protection measures made under the National Environment Protection Council (WA) Act 1996; and provide the power to regulate the sale of wood heaters and firewood to help tackle Perth's winter haze problem.
