Long Title The purpose of this Bill is to change the date for local government ordinary elections from the first Saturday in May to the third Saturday in October and introduce the State Parliamentary system of voting for local government elections.
Status Assented to
Royal Assent given 8 Dec 2006 as Act No. 66 of 2006. This Act comes into operation on a day fixed by Proclamation (see Assent and Commencement information for Acts)
