This Bill has been prepared to complement the Acts Amendment (Marine Reserves) Bill 1997 and its purpose is to provide for compensation measures for a reduction in the value of existing rights under fisheries and pearling legislation that may be affected by the passage and operations of the Acts Amendment (Marine Reserves) Bill 1997. |
