| Long Title |
The purpose of this Bill is to replace the existing Debits Tax Assessment Act 1990 with an up-to-date, contemporary statute in an easy to follow format. The repeal and, where relevant, the saving of the Debits Tax Assessment Act 1990 can be found in the Taxation Administration (Consequential Provisions) Bill 2001. It should be noted that many of the administrative provisions of the 1990 Act have not been reproduced in this Bill. The common administrative provisions will be located in the Taxation Administration Bill 2001. |
