Long Title
This Bill amends the Juries Act 1957 and provides for
a more effective method of serving jury summonses; more widespread use of computer technology in the jury selection process; increasing the age limit of prospective jurors
excluding persons from jury service where they have been subject to a suspended imprisonment order; and
a reduction in the number of citizens required to be summoned for jury service through reducing the number of peremptory challenges.
