| Long Title |
The purpose of this Bill is to establish the Economic Regulation Authority as an independent body to assume responsibility for economic regulatory functions currently performed by a variety of Ministers, sector-specific regulators and public sector officials. The regulatory functions of the Authority will apply to electricity, gas. rail and water industries. |
