Long Title
The Bill amends the Financial Administration and Audit Act 1985 and the Government Financial Responsibility Act 2000 for the purposes of - consolidating the annual financial reporting by the Treasurer; improving the timeliness of annual and quarterly financial reporting by the Treasurer and annual reporting by Government departments; amending the title and strengthening the role of Principal Accounting Officers, and providing for two machinery changes, being the process for disbursing 27th pay provisions to Government departments; and to legislatively recognise creation of the Parliamentary Services Department.
