Long Title

The purpose of the Bill is to amend the Hospitals and Health Services Act 1927. The Bill will implement the recommendation of the report entitled "A Review of the Licensing of Private Sector Aged Care Facilities in Western Australia" to remove the requirement for private operated nursing homes to be licensed under the Act if they have received and maintained certification under the Aged Care Act 1997 (Cwlth).
