Long Title |
The purpose of this Bill is to develop an administrative framework for allowing voluntary euthanasia in Western Australia. Its aim is to establish an administrative structure that can only be enacted by mentally competent adults, suffering a medically diagnosed illness that is likely to cause death. It will legalise an adult persons intention to terminate his or her life in this circumstance and provide immunity to a person assisting that person providing it occurs according to the requirements of this Bill. |
