Long Title

The purpose of this Bill is to provide the opportunity for agricultural industry to be independent in the funding and management of services and activities. The amendments will allow industry trust funds currently operating under differing legislation to be rationalized under a consistent model. Under the Bill, the "Horticultural Produce Commission" will become the "Agricultural Produce Commission", and the opportunities provided by the Horticultural Produce Commission Act 1988 will be extended to all agricultural producers.
